I was in receipt of the National Scholarship of the Govt. of India for excelling in Matriculation, B.Sc. and   M.Sc. Exams. I was in receipt of  Sr. CSIR Fellowship for my Ph.D.work.

 

 

8. Courses Completed :

 

During M.Sc. (1980-82), I have done Courses like  Real and Complex Analysis,

Functional Analysis, Linear Operator and Banach Algebra, Probability and Measure

Theory, Differential Geometry, etc. I had also submitted  a Dissertation on Schrodinger Operator.

 

During January 1985 to December 1986 I was a research scholar in the Centre for

Atmospheric Sciences, IIT, Delhi. I was working on `Flow in a Constricted Tube' for my  Ph.D. Degree. I had successfully completed the pre-Doctoral Courses on Numerical Solutions of Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Methods of Applied

Mathematics, Advanced Fluid Mechanics and Transport Phenomena in the Living

Systems.

 

At JNU, I completed Courses on Principles of Operating Systems, Principles of Compiler Design, Principles of  Digital Computers, Discrete Mathematics and Applications of Graph Theory.

Ph.D. Thesis : “Finite Difference Methods and their Convergence for a Class of two-

9. Employment:

 

I was teaching Mathematics to undergraduate students in Miranda House (2nd Sept.1993

to 18th Oct.1993) and Gargi College (16th Nov.1993 to 30th April 1994) which are affiliated to Delhi University. I was working as a UGC Research Associate in the

Dept.of  Computer Sc.and Engg. at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi

from 3rd May 1995 to 23rd Nov.1996. I continued that Associateship in the Institute of

Physics at Bhubaneswar,Orissa until 27th Oct.1997. From 28th Oct.1997 till 21st  Sept.

2000 I was working as a Lecturer in the Dept of Computer Sc.and Engg., Orissa

Engg.College, Bhubaneswar. Since 22nd Sept.2000 I am working as a Lecturer in the

P.G. Dept.of Computer Sc. at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Now I am working   as

Lecturer in  the Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Multi-Media

University, Melaka-75450, Malaysia since  October 2001.

      I was also the  Chairperson for CNC(Centre for Network Computing), one of the 

      Centres of  Excellence in  MMU  for one year(July 2002 to June2003).
